Round 4 KSC race day

Round 4 KSC race day held on the 29th of June at the national sports stadium was a busy day for all the drivers.

The kid Mini class:

Some tight racing between Shaenesu Shambare, Jake Edwards, and Ragnar Mudzimba. Throughout the day, they showed that they were all in it to win it. Sheunesu Shambare took the win for the day, followed closely by Ragnar Mudzimba in 2nd place, and Jake Edward’s finishing off in 3rd place.

Mini Rok class:

Elroy Shamu brought his A game for race day with his newly acquired 2025 Kosmic Kart, setting some record pace in qualifying and throughout the day. With a 0.001sec difference in Qualifying times saw Devin Van De Linde qualifying in 2nd place for the first time this season, Jaydon Kerwin following closely in 3rd on the start grid. Elroy Shamu won all 4 heats finishing in 1st place for the day, showing he has the pace to lead the pack. Devin Van De Linde finished off in 2nd place with no way of keeping up with Elroy Shamu. Jaydon Kerwin did all he could to keep up and finished up in 3rd place for the day.

New Bee Oliver Broadway had a great day and finished off in 4th place. Rayaan Savania had a terrible day with endless mechanical issues throughout the day and only pulled back to 5th place for the day. The battle of the new Bees saw Wade Gleig finish in 6th place, Engelbert Mudzimba in 7th place, and Daniel Sadiqi in 8th.

Rotax 125: Good clean racing saw Zaydaan Savania qualifying in 1st place, followed closely by Eli Pilossoff in 2nd and Yassen Savania in 3rd place. Tawana Shambare qualified in 4th place.

Some close racing between the Savania Boys saw Zaydaan clinch the win for the day with his brother Yaseen Savania finishing closely behind in 2nd place. Tawana Shambare managed to get past Eli Pilossoff to claim 3rd place. Eli Pilossoff finished in 4th place.

Eshaan Savania enjoyed racing against his family members and finished off in 5th place, his Cousin Zayaan Savania finished in 6th and Sam Townsend finishing in 7th place.

Pro Karts class:

This class was full of close Racing throughout the day. Moe moosa stamped his authority from the start to claim pole position for race 1, Josh Flight in 2nd and Kuda Mudzinganigwa in 3rd. All the close racing saw a total change in the leadership board for the day with Kuda Mudzinganigwa claiming 1st place, Veronica Lowe in 2nd and Justin Mbaka in 3rd.

The Bambino class 35cc with kids aged 6yrs and below did a demonstration during the lunch break. This is the time KSC has had our youngest members drive around the track. The crowds cheered them on and was the highlight of the day for sure.🏆
